Sopranessense

Junior solo recital, entitled "Soprannesense," featured a diverse program of music for soprano saxophone, marking the first soprano-only recital in Ohio University history. Designed to demonstrate the vast diversity of the soprano saxophone and the distinct adaptability required of the performer, the program spanned classical, jazz, gospel, bebop, dixieland, impressionist, blues, contemporary, and electronic music. The recital also served as the world premiere of my original arrangement, "I'm Not So Sure," for soprano saxophone and looping pedal.
